Shea It Ain't So

Good Brand

It is so and don't call me Shea! Love the word play here. Now if only I could get a little foot play.

Oh My Gauze

Good Brand

I struggled for a while deciding whether this one belonged here or on Good Word Bad Word. Finally, I settled on this blog because it's rare to see such a clever corporate name. As fans of the Good/Bad franchise know, I'm quite the pundit. So when I see a company putting on a pretty play on words, I lose my proverbial shit. (Sorry, that analogy probably belonged in my last post). What I really like here though is that the brand name is not cute for cute's sake, it actually represents the product -- fashions made from breathable cotton. Bottom line, as far as people remembering this brand, methinks this name will stick.

Trivial Pursuit

Good Brand

Here's another one I like. Not only is is punny but it accurately reflects what the product's all about -- the pursuit of all things trivial. For a while, Trivial Pursuit was the kleenex of the trivia category. They've managed to stay relevant though with new editions like this Pop Culture DVD game. It all goes to show, that when choosing a brand name, there's nothing trivial about it!

Handsome Boy Modeling School

Good Brand

This one was suggested by Mr. Dave McAnally. Believe it or not, he's not a graduate of this school. It's not actually a school. It's a rap duo featuring Prince Paul (of De La Soul fame) and Dan the Automator. Great name though. Rating band/group names opens up a whole can of worms (looks like GoodBandBadBand.com is available!) but I'm not gonna take the bait (as much as I'd love to slap Good Brand on Gnarls Barkley!) and focus this site more on consumer products, corporations, etc. Thx for the submission though, D-Mac -- now get back to schoolin' peeps on SEO!
